Galan is an older gleeman, who wanders the backroads and alleys of the world. He is seeking tales and myths from the Age of Legends, and isn't above inventing stories from almost whole cloth.
Galan was distracted from his intended course when he encountered J'ann. J'ann was a woman who was quite familiar... but that he'd never met before. Instead, she had haunted his previous night's dream. It seems that the dream involved her being stabbed through... which Galan witnessed but a few days later.
