Next Game: Friday March 9th

We’re on schedule to get together next this upcoming Friday. We’ve tentatively scheduled it as a Shadowrun Character and Background Creation session. Kev has told us that any group of runners will work– don’t worry about “balancing” the team.

Here’s what we have so far, also on a new wiki page:

Dad: A former swat team magician, enhanced a bit with cyberware and a few body enhancements. Very good at melting brains and knocking people out…

Me: A kid with a gift for healing; long on skills for “getting along” on the streets.

Jennifer: A skilled, probably cybered fighter, with a love of cars and retro technology.

Any corrections anyone? Any early thoughts Ben?

If you’re on the web and have some time to kill, I have a page of Shadowrun links that might be useful.

Next Game: Friday March 2nd

We finished the adventures of Erisorn, Ludwig, Draifen and Kogor last week, and look forward to picking a new game this Friday. Come prepared to kibitz and pitch fun games for the rest of us to play! (We can also sneak in some light and funny board games while we’re talking, if that’s appealing on Friday.)

Next Game: Friday February 23rd

UPDATE: The session has been pushed back to the 23rd. Kev is out of town this weekend, visiting in-laws.

If you have any problems making it Friday, please let us know. Otherwise, it sounds like we’ll finish up Waterdeep and wander back up the hill to turn Erisorn’s brain over to Chaos. 😉

Game Coordination

Tom and Cheryl are still on schedule to visit us this weekend, so our normal D&D night is off. It looks like our next meeting should be Friday, February 9th. As ever, if that doesn’t work for you, please let us know.

Next Game: Saturday January 27th

With Kev’s illness derailing the game this week, it looks like we’re going to need to skip ahead to next week. Jennifer is throwing a goodbye party for her designer on Friday night, so a Saturday game sounds best. Can you all make it?

Just to make things trickier, Jennifer’s flying out of Fresno Saturday night for a conference in Las Vegas. I think that we can still get in a good session– say 11 am – 6 pm?

The game log has been updated too.

(If you saw anything here– ignore it. We’re back to throwing the party on Friday. Yay for Saturday gaming.)

Game On: Friday January 19th

We had our negotiation with Despater, but it looks like the gods are leaving him to us. Let’s see what this week brings…

If you’ll have any problem making it Friday night, please let us know.

I think we’re looking at winding up the D&D game pretty soon– it’s been a lot of fun. Still, I look ahead and try to figure out what fun’s on the horizon. Here are the choices I’m hearing so far…

January 12th: Next Game

We got back into our campaign with a bang, executing an insanely optimistic “scry and fry” on a building full of Paladins of Tyranny, after returning to the Dragon Coast and our precocious king who would be a mage.

We’re on for next Friday, unless you’ll have a problem with making it. If you have any problem, just let us know.

Happy 2007

I had a great 2006, and enjoyed the beginning of 2007. While the span from Christmas til yesterday was exhausting, it was great to see everyone, play a few games, and enjoy the presence of family. I’m a really lucky guy, you know?

Happy 2007 to everyone!

Holiday Break

We’re off for the holidays– have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We’re scheduled to resume the evening of Friday, January 5th.

The Game Log should be updated soon– short form: the Queen is crowned, we were lauded… but Despater left us a note saying “You’ve won a battle, not the war.”

Next Game: Friday December 15th

We’re next scheduled for a Friday night, the same 6:30 start time as normal.

If you’ll have any problems making it, just let us know.

That site I mentioned with the custom character sheets is Ema’s Sheets. Select dynamic sheets, and away you go.
